Inherits Microsoft.VisualBasic.MVP : Implements IBrainFart
Finger moulding.

I've been programming for what i consider to be a long time (over 10 years now).

I've noticed that i've picked up a strange habit - my fingers do things that i have no control over, even when i'm explicitly trying not to do it.

I can provide two examples, based on the fact that i'm extremely fluent in both VB/VB.net and C/C++.

First example: Sometimes, i have to type the word 'strong', as you do :) Every time i type it, even if i think to myself 'make sure you type the word strong', what ends up on the screen is 'string'. Why? Because I've typed the word 'string' so many damn times in my VB career.

Second example. The word 'print'. This word always comes out 'printf'. C is a great language, but this is annoying :)

Anyone else have this problem, or am i special?

Very recognizable. l have even worse patterns burned into my nervous system: can't type the word component, always ends up as componenet. Would like a general spelling checker.
