The things we do when we're young.

Poor Frank Arrigo has been having an interesting time of late. His son seems to have decided to add another food group category to the list - inanimate objects.

It's caused me some amusement reading about the progress of it all - espically with thoughts of websites like this.

You can read about Brice's progress here, here and here. It's great to have pictures to go along with it!

It reminds me of something that happened to me when i was 3 or 4 years old. For the life of me i can not remember why i did it, but i can clearly remember grabbing 3 or 4 small pebbles and shoving them up my nose. I guess it seemed like a good idea at the time... :)

My father had to take me to the hospital where they had a pair of really really long tweezers to pull them out - and had to somehow explain to the doctors how it happened. I'm pretty sure he won't have used the 'he fell over in the shower' excuse :)

It's funny what you put your parents through at times. I much prefer to remember this little story than the time i borrowed their car when i was 15 and wrote it off, or when I had to explain to my mother how the burn marks on the carpet got there.

I'm older now, and wiser, and just as prone to stupid occurences. But i don't live my parents anymore, so they don't get as exasperated as often. Instead, i now push that on Jordie, who has to put up with me as well as our 3 year old!

Ah, reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer recounts shoving crayons up his nose.
