Search enabling my blog

I noticed on Stefano Demiliani's page that he had a dotnetjunkies google search box on his page.

I thought about how it would be nice if it didn't search just dotnetjunkies, but just a specific blog. So i've attempted my own.

For those who come to my actual blog page, you'll see on the left a search box. Type in some text, press enter, and you get a google search to popup (i'm even conforming to xp sp2 and google toolbar popup blocker rules, so it does get popped :)

But i'm not happy with the results. Currently, a little bit of javascript is taking what's typed and changing it into a search query like this:

'site:www.dotnetjunkies.com “structured thought” <your search text here>'

This is clever enough, sure, but does anyone have any search string refinements for me? It doesn't actually find me very many of my posts :)  Perhaps i'm not being very googled *grin*

Suggestions welcome.

Update: I've had a suggestion, which seems to have made a big improvement, and taught me something new. It seems that a google search has a keyword 'inurl' to filter urls. Thanks to Sriram Krishnan for this useful tidbit :)

So now the query does this:

'site:www.dotnetjunkies.com inurl:fredd <your search text here>'
