Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes (Time may change me, but i can't change time)
A few changes recently. Mostly nothing spectacular, but hey, blogs are for boring people with inconsequentials and other stuff non-code related right?
Let's see - first up, I've had another little tweak at the custom css of my blog. I'm still not 100% happy with it, but it's getting close...closeish anyway. Any graphic artists want to come up with any suggestions?
I'm also not that happy anymore with the title of my blog. The problem is that I really can't think of anything to replace it with. I'm thinking I want something code related, most specifically VB if possible, but something witty and intelligent is required, of course. Some ideas i've had so far are:
- ++i += i++;
- Dim Witted As IDiot
- AddHandler Blog.Poster, AddressOf Me.Keyboard
- Public Declare Function MyBlog Lib "GeoffAppleby.dll" () As String
But while they're mildly amusing (in a lame sort of way) I'm not that thrilled with them. Anyone have some good ideas?
I'm going to have to redo my christmas list too. A few things from when my daughter was a baby didn't survive, so consequently we're missing a cot, a pram, and a changing table. It wouldn't be an issue except that we confirmed today that Jordie's pregnant again (w00t! She's 0wnzed! Totally hax0red!) so instead of the usual socks and jocks I think I'll hit the grandparents up for a different sort of practical present :) Another kid...wow...at the time I didn't think I was ready for the first one, and now we went and deliberately made a second. Freaky :)
And now this results in one last change. Where the hell am i going to keep the computer? We're going to need the computer room to become a bedroom. I think in the next 9 months, and as well as saving all the pennies we can so we can get ready for Jordie's materntity leave running out, I think i'm going to need to invest in a wireless setup, and stash the computer somewhere out of the way. Perhaps my bedroom - then Jordie will see me at night at least *grin*
In typical geek style, i'm not sure what's more disconcerting - needing to prepare for a new baby in the house, or where to move the computer to. Oh the quandary!
I'm thinking the Cutie Shootout needs to go on hold for nine months. Then i'll have a double-barrelled shotgun to point at Mitch Denny. Me thinks you have some catching up to do, Mitch. :P
