A Quiet Week
It's been a bit of a quiet week this week.
Last weekend we went for a nice barbie at Cotter Dam. Many a good time was had, and many a damn blowfly waved away from the food. I got my birthday presents there too, and scored quite well - some books that I wanted, and cash to go and buy a DVD burner (which I'm going off to buy tomorrow morning). Thanks guys!
On Monday I started getting a cough which, by tuesday, developed into the flu - including all the dizzy spells and shakiness that goes with it. Wednesday and Thursday were mostly spent in bed. I'm better, but not fully better so far. A little stronger each day, and all that.
Probably the biggest non-geeky news I have for the last week is that my older sister put up all the wedding photos that she took, digital and scans alike. Actually, she managed to get up photos from the last two christmas's, the wedding, and the shots that were taken before my great-aunt's funeral - we were all clean and dressed, we had to take advantage :) Feel free to take a squizz and poke fun at how stupid I look! Thanks heaps for putting these up Jen! My favourites, of course, or of my little girl - especially this one and this one with my parents at christmas '03. Hey Mitch - remind me update the wiki warfare :)
On the geek side of things, there's not much to show. Been too sick. Perhaps it's a plot by those damn aliens, now that they know that I'm on to them. go read some other interesting blogs instead until I think of something worthwhile to write about - I suggest other canberrans, of course, as per one of Frank's recent posts.
