Useful Life Tip #3
I have a series of posts that I sometimes write. People who are reading me at CodeBetter might not know about them, because the last time I wrote one in this series it was back at dotnetjunkies. So this one time only, I'm posting it to the mainfeed - that way if you don't subscribe to me, you still find out that they exist. They're very useful and will help you with your life - a good reason for everyone to subscribe to me, no? :)
I was driving to work the other day when I realised something.
Wait, we need some backstory.
*insert magic whooshy screen here to signify a flashback*
A couple of weeks ago I bought some new shoes. Normally at work I wear the standard old black leather shoes that everyone wears to the office. But I've got a bung heel, and so I've been wearing sneakers. My only sneakers were white, so I was wearing black trousers, a business shirt, and white sneakers - it looked a little off.
So, after having them ordered in because I've got such big feet (you know what they say ladies - Big feet...big shoes!) I got myself some black leather sneakers, so I look a little more normal (from the knees down anyway) at work.
It's been a couple of weeks, and I'm still not completely used to them.

I was driving to work the other day when I realised something. I'm still not completely used to my new shoes, and it's most apparent when I'm driving. I'm a little hard on the brake, and a little fast on the accelerator than normal - makes for a slightly less than smooth ride :)
And something clicked. Which leads us to...
Useful Life Tip #3
Everyone thinks that women are bad drivers, but that's just a stupid stereotype, and you should show them some consideration.
They're not really bad drivers. They just keep on buying new shoes. It's hard to drive well when you aren't used to the shoes you're wearing.
