Death of a Subscription
I've done it. They're gone.
I'm subscribed to a fair few blogs, which I enjoy reading immensely (most of the time). But lately there's been a couple of feeds which just get on my nerves, and I figured it was time to do something about it.
As a result, I'm now unsubscribed from two feeds - weblogs.asp.net, and dotnetjunkies (don't worry Thomas, I'm subscribed to your blog still!).
Notice how they're both aggregate feeds? weblogs.asp.net used to be a tech feed. Now it's mostly junk. I subscribe individually to a few members of this site, but I'm sick of the rubbish that appears on the main feed.
Dotnetjunkies...well, I don't want to be too rude, so I'll keep my mouth shut. Let's just say that in this case it's not so much the content of the feed as the site itself. I know I myself started off there (as did a lot of us codebetter guys), but I've had enough. I'll say no more, or I'll just rant on and on and on :)
So goodbye you two feeds. You were probably the first two feeds I ever subscribed to, but it's time to spread your wings and fly away.
