There Goes The Neighbourhood

In true BodyCount style, the neighbourhood here at work just went to the dogs. I might as well stand out the front of my building pimping drugs and guns.

I suppose it had to happen sooner or later. Canberra is, after all, quite a small place. One of these some out-of-town trash was going to move and send the property values plummeting.

OK, I'm kidding. It's not bad at all :) I just wandered down to the local cafe to pick up some lunch, and who did I meet there? Darren! It seems he's working nearby for the next couple of months. Sweet! We'll have to organise some geek lunches, me thinks.

Oh, and dude, my number one piece of advice for working in this area of town: the only place that's close to get food is the cafe I saw you in - and they are hella over priced, and their takeaway stuff is often old and crusty. Try to bring lunch from home whenever possible :)
