Enter the WebCast
My toy collection of Microsoft Mascots just keeps on growing. A new one arrived for me in the mail this week - and I owe Andrew Coates another huge thanks for it. Dude, keep on rocking! (He also sent me the discs with the PDC05 content - also very cool, but more about them later when I've had time to look at them :)
Now, the problem with my toys is that each time I get a new one, I post a picture. AS time has gone on, the picture(s) have got more and more advanced.
After last time with a series of photos to make a story, my only option this time was to make a movie.
I was only going to make an animated gif, but then I remembered the MS released PhotoStory3 last year, so I figured I might use that - then I can have sound too!
And so (insert trumpet flare here) I present: Enter the WebCast!
I was up late making this masterpiece of a movie, and was all ready to write this blog post, when I realised that for all the things I can do online, I don't actually have anywhere to put miscellaneous files. So I went to bed and today asked for help on a mailing list - and the best suggestion (that got the file up quickest) was to use Google Video. So that's what I've done. Sometime later I'll probably find somewhere to store the .wmv version if people really want it (I doubt it :) but for now you'll have to watch it there.
I'm dreading the amount of effort I'll need to put in if/when I get another one of these toys - but it should be great fun! (hint hint: anyone got one I don't have? *laughs*)
So anyway, go watch it!
