Windows Error Reporting in Vista
Windows Error Reporting seems to have been improved in Vista. At least, it looks a lot nicer - although maybe it's just the glass stuff :)
One thing they know how to do is call a spade a spade, it seems. This evening I was running a modification to my Office2007 install, and at the same time I tried to start a game - the end result was a bluescreen, quickly followed by a reboot.
When I logged back in, Windows Error Reporting kicked in and told me that something had gone wrong, and would I like to check online for a fix? I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the problem name, however :)
Yup, it's official. I definitely bluescreened :)
I am doing my part to help though - they wanted more info, and so I'm letting them have a copy of my 127 Meg memory dump file.
