Stuck At Home For A Week
Two weeks ago we had the baby down with Chicken Pox. Now my other daughter (the 4 year old) has them :) This time it's my turn to take a week off work to stay home with a sick kid :)
Having spent Monday at home with her, I'm already sick of all teh movies we have on the movie shelf. Last night I went to the video store and hired a heap for to watch that I haven't seen in ages. I expect to be going back a couple more times *laughs*
So of the three weeks I have left at work, one of them is spent as sick leave - which means I've got only two weeks to get probably 6 weeks worth of work done to try and make the handover as smooth as possible.
On top of that, the due date for submitting the slide deck the presentation we're doing at TechEd is looming fast. So long as Issy isn't too grumpy, I should be able to spend a lot of time on it this week at least - so maybe it's a bit of a blessing in disguise.
Give it a week or so, and our house should finally be disease free :)
