Airport Blogging
Well this is a new experience for me. I'm sitting in Sydney Airport waiting for my flight home from TechEd. I've been here about three and a half hours already, and there's still almost an hour until takeoff.
Luckily, Mitch has been stuck on the same flight as me. So I'm sitting on a borrowed laptop (thanks Noonie!) and hijacking into Mitch's net connection which he opened up for sharing on his wireless card :)
It's a pretty flaky connection - our laptops would be about a meter and a half apart, and my wireless connection keeps dropping in and out about every three minutes.
Today I was indoctrinated into the Readify lifestyle. Last night there was a Readify company dinner, followed with a company meeting today - it's certainly opened my eyes up, that's for sure. Readify is a hell of a lot bigger than I thought it was. Should be fun though - at least now I have some sort of idea of what I'll be getting up to in my first few weeks with the company (which starts monday, in case you've forgotten).
I think I'll start with rebuilding my home computer :)
