Meet The Family
As I get around to taking a lot of different pictures of myself for the Gaptcha control, I've decided to also occasionally include photos of other members of my family. Now, while I can recognise and identify members of my family, I'm certainly not expecting everyone who reads this blog to be able to do it.
So I thought I'd give a clearly labeled list of my family (with pictures) people can use for reference for when they get asked to click on my third cousin's dog's previous owner's step-daughter's first grade teacher. I know that that's a poor example (everyone knows Mrs Nibbles, right?), but I'm sure you get my point.
This is me. I'm the one who wrote everything you read in this blog. Devilishly handsome, no? No *sigh*
This is my wife, Jordie. She much better looking than I am. Although, if you carefully compare the photo of her with me, she's obviously got a freakishly large head. Look at it, it's like twice the size of mine!
This is my eldest daughter, Issy. She's 5 (at the time of writing this in October 2006). She has all her own teeth, strong legs, a glossy coat - a good find indeed.
This is my youngest daughter, Sam. She's currently 15 months old. She likes walks on the beach, candle-lit dinners, the usual girly stuff. Oh, and sticking dead flies up her nose.
This is my big sister, Jen. She's actually a hell of lot smaller than I am (but that's not hard).
This is my little sister, Deb. She's a lot smaller than me too (although she's bigger than my big sister - I think the height gene got distributed on a very random basis in the Appleby clan).
This is my mother. She's loves being in front of a camera. So much so that whenever I get a camera out she runs and hides. This is a typical shot where all we can do is take a picture when she's not looking.
This is my father. I couldn't find an embarrassing photo of him, so let me just say that he's old. (That's Sam he's holding, not me - if it was me then he would probably look about 90 by now! Hmm...maybe he's just holding his age well)
